Surprise for New mums at Wexham Park Hospital

Midwives have shown themselves to be adaptable to many changing situations but none have been more challenging than the Covid-19 pandemic. Midwives across the globe have risen to the extraordinary challenge to protect women and babies, and support one another while risking their own personal safety to do the job they love in unprecedented times.

As we celebrate International Day of the Midwife, on 5th May 2021, we want to take a moment to thank midwives around the world for the amazing work they do. To show our gratitude and appreciation, we popped along to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough armed with boxes full of our organic muslin swaddles for the midwife team to give to new Mums over the coming days. Both Wexham and Frimley Park Hospital hold a special place in our hearts here at Bloomsbury Mill as not one, but five of our Bloomsbury Family babies were delivered there.
